The University of Southern Maine got a game winning goal from Maddie Niles (Lawrence) on Saturday afternoon, and won their third straight game with a 3-1 victory over Wheaton College (Massachusetts) in Gorham.
Dylan Barr (Morse) and Mackenzie Hall (Westbrook) had the other goals for the 3-1 Huskies, while freshman Haylee Romasco (Nokomis) made seven saves in net. USM plays again on Tuesday with a road game at Wellesley College at 6 p.m.
