Preseason baseball on 4/14 @ Myrtle Beach- Sacopee Valley 15 Skowhegan 9- final - Caleb Vacchiano - The UMaine commit had three hits, three runs scored, two RBI, was a homer shy of a cycle, Bradly Metcalf reached base four times from the leadoff spot, including three runs scored and three hits. Braiden Croteau had three RBI, Dylan Capano allowed 0 earned runs on four hits and two walks, while striking out six. Tyler Clark, Jason Aubin, and Trevor Austin had two hits each , while Jackson Hight had three RBI for the River Hawks.

Bagley leads Searsport baseball to comeback win over Dexter
Drew Bagley reached base four times, had three hits, two doubles, five RBI, and pitched the final 2.2 innings to earn the pitching win in a 14-13 Searsport victory over Dexter.
The Vikings trailed 13-7 going into the bottom of the sixth inning. Bagley hit a run scoring single as they cut the Tigers lead to 13-9 heading into the seventh. Bagley retired the side in order in the top of the seventh inning to keep the deficit at four going into the final at bat for his team.
Bagley had a double that scored three runs and evened the score at 13. That set up the walk off hit from Oliver Carbiserio that scored Bagley. Jacob Bragdon had three RBI for the Vikings, while Camden Springer knocked in two. Searsport (1-1) will host Bangor Christian on Monday.
Chase Farnsworth had two hits and scored four runs for the Tigers. Willis Rienhardt had two hits and three RBI. Dexter (0-2) will play their home opener on Monday against Mattanawcook.
Sands leads Ponies to baseball win over Pirates
Lucas Sands reached base four times to lead the Foxcroft Academy Ponies to an 8-4 win over PCHS/Greenville on Friday afternoon at Dover-Foxcroft.
Sands went 3-3 with two doubles, two runs scored, and also walked once from the leadoff spot. Jack Day had two hits and two RBI, Jack Caruso had two hits and one RBI, while Aiden Harvey had two hits and two runs scored. Jadon Richard pitched solid relief for the Ponies, pitching 3.1 innings, allowing no runs and no hits, while walking four and striking out four. Foxcroft (1-0) will play at Bucksport on Monday.
Brady Gaw had a double and two RBI for the Pirates. Gaige Tracy reached base three times with one run scored and one RBI. Caleb Littlefield reached base twice with one RBI. PCHS (1-1) will host Penquis on April 26th
