Dexter Tigers boys basketball

Last years record – 9 – 9

Head Coach- Peter Murray

Expectations- A young, athletic team will provide for some growing pains on some nights with solid basketball outcomes on other nights. We expect to be competitive in all of our games despite the fact that we may be outmatched in size some nights. We are optimistic that we can compete for a play-off position that will ultimately result in a trip to the Cross Center.

Strengths- Strong team chemistry will keep the atmosphere positive all season. Strong leadership, despite our roster make-up not including any seniors, will keep us working hard, overcoming obstacles, and continuing progress all season long.

Challenges- Inexperience at the varsity level. We will return only 2 players with any varsity experience. We do not have much height and that will be a problem for us with some teams.

Key Players/Position – Zach White – 2 year starter as guard will become a forward this season. Josh Simcock – Guard/Forward – started last year as Frosh.

William Strauch – Taking over a point this year. Jason Campbell – Forward – big man who can step outside for shots. Brayden Miller – Forward – athletic forward. CJ Cooper – Forward. Nathan Boudreau – guard. Chandler Perkins – guard. Jon Brooks – Center. Jacob Bickford – guard. Matt Richards – Guard. Branden Allen – Guard.
