Brady comes up big as Patriots pull away from Niners

Tom Brady threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns on 24-40 passing  to lead the New England Patriots to a 30-17 win at San Francisco on Sunday afternoon.

LeGarrette Blount rushed for 124 yards on 19 carries. It is the 4th game this season that Blount has reached the 100 yard mark. 

The Patriots broke open a close game with 17 fourth quarter points. New England (8-2) will travel to the meadowlands for an AFC clash with the Jets next Sunday at 4:25 p.m.

Malcolm Mitchell had 98 yards receiving, including a touchdown on five carches. Julian Edelman had 77 yards receiving and a touchdown. James White and Danny Amendola each had a receiving touchdown. Dion Lewis had 26 yards receiving and 23 yards rushing in his first game since last year. Lewis missed over a year because of a torn ACL.
