Celtics start west coast trip with a bang against the Lakers

The Boston Celtics scored 70 points in the first half and rolled to a 115-95 win over the Los Angeles Lakers 

Isaiah Thomas scored 18 points to lead the Celtics who had six players finish in double figures. Al Horford put in 17 points, while Jaylen Brown came off the bench to put in 16 points. Avery Bradley  (15), Jae Crowder (14), and Amir Johnson (13) also finished in double figures 

The Celtics (40-22)  are three games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for the top spot in the Eastern Conference and three games ahead of the Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors.  They will continue their west coast trip on Sunday afternoon at Phoenix.
