Injuries and big deficit can’t stop the Celtics from getting 11th straight win

November 11, 2017

All Celtics fans know about Gordon Hayward being out for a long time after the injury on opening night. Al Horford missed his second game on Friday night when the Celtics hosted the Hornets. On top of al that, Kyrie Irving went down when he was hit in the head by an Aron Bayned early in the game Friday night.

All that plus falling behind by 18 points in the third quarter didn’t stop the Celtics (11-2) from getting a 90-87 win, their 11th straight win.

Jayson Tatum and Shane Larkin scored 16 points each for the Celtics. Terry Rozier put in 15 points, while Jaylen Brown recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds.
