The Boston Celtics shot only 33 percent from the floor Wednesday night, as the Toronto Raptors collected a 96-78 win at the Air Canada Centre.
Boston (53-25) shot just 3-22 (13.6%) from three point range, while Toronto made 10 threes on 33 attempts. The Raptors now increase their lead in the Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference to three games over the Celtics with just four games remaining in the regular season.
Marcus Morris led Boston with 21 points and five rebounds. Greg Monroe had 17 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Al Horford was only other Celtic in double figures, with 16 points and four rebounds.
Toronto (56-22) got 16 points, three rebounds, and two assists from Demar Derozian. Serge Ibaka had 15 points and six rebounds, while Fred Vanfleet also had 15 points, three rebounds, and four assists. Kyle Lowry also chipped in 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Boston will try to end their two game losing skid when they host Chicago Friday at 7:30 p.m.
