Husson (2-2, 1-0 NESCAC) built a 21-0 second quarter lead on touchdown catches by Kyle Audet and Tyler Halls from Cory Brandon, and a Quan Soyini 81 yard punt return before a late flurry of scores before halftime. SUNY scored their first touchdown on a Kahlil Lewis 13 yard touchdown reception from Thomas Wright with 1:49 left to cut it to 21-7. Audet caught his second score of the day from Brandon with 15 seconds left in the half, but the Eagles missed the extra point. The hosts scored on a 60 yard pass and catch to Matthew Cebulski from Wright with just 8 seconds to go, to make it 27-14 at the break.

After a scoreless third quarter, SUNY got within 27-21 on a 21 yard TD catch by Brandonn Drumgole from Wright with 9:10 left to play. The Eagles wrapped up the win however when Miece Loureiro scored on a four yard run with 2:06 left, and converted a two point conversation to wrap up a 15 play, 70 yard drive that took 7:04 off the clock.
