On Wednesday night David Gross from Bucksport high school was named Eastern Maine Sports wrestler of the year. Gross finished the season with a 33-1 record. The junior finished second at New England’s. Dexter wrestlers Caleb Weeks and Gage Stone finished second and third in the voting. Ryan Fredette from Winslow high school was the 2017/2018 wrestler of the year.
