Each week we will put out teams that had a good week to vote on for team of the week.  The weeks will go from Friday through Thursday. Here are the teams for week three (12/30-1/5). Can vote once an hour until January 8th at 1 PM. Scroll down to vote. To register click here, to log in click here.

• Lawrence girls basketball- defeated Nokomis and Messalonskee this past week and have won four in a row.
• Old Town girls basketball- outscored opponents by an average of 65.5-14 in two games this past week. They now are 8-0 on the season.
• PVHS girls basketball- the Howlers won two games this past week, including coming back from 19 down in the third quarter to defeat previously undefeated Southern Aroostook.
• Wisdom girls basketball- won two games this past week, including a 41-40 win over Fort Kent.
• Brewer boys basketball- averaged 83 points in two wins this past and are 7-0 on the season. They have averaged 76.7 points per game on the season and have allowed only 39.8.
• Ellsworth boys basketball- defeated Caribou and John Bapst to improved to 8-0 on the season.
• Foxcroft boys basketball- won two games, including getting by previously undefeated Dexter.
• Machias boys basketball- defeated Calais and Narraguagus to improve to 7-0 on the season.
• Southern Aroostook boys basketball- won two games this and have now outscored opponents 80.7-26.3 this season.
