Ripley Strout had a huge game in leading Ellsworth football to a win at Dexter Strout attends Narraguagus high school, while playing football for Ellsworth high school. Strout had 378 yards and six touchdowns. Carter Wiggin (Hermon) finished as runner up. Strout joins Nick Bagley (12-6-14), Javon Williams (9-9-18), Matt Burnett (2) (6-20-19), Hunter Curtis (5-10-21), Mercedes Ulichny 6-3-23, Andrew Herrick (6-13-23, and Camryn Clough (5/24/24 as student/athletes from Ellsworth high school that have earned athlete of the week honors. He joins Anna Ramsay (2) (1-18-14), Kelli Kennedy (4) (2-28-16), Chad Perry (2-11-17), and Lanie Perry (5) (5-13-19) as student/athletes from Narraguagus that have earned athlete of the week honors.
