The Boston Celtics started fast on Sunday night, and rolled past the 76ers 128-96 in Game 4 of an Eastern Conference First Round Playoff series at XFinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The Celtics take a 3-1 series lead and can wrap up the best of seven on Tuesday night back in Boston.
Payton Pritchard had a game-high 32 points (12-21 field goals, 6-12 three-pointers) that included five field goals and three-pointers (13 points) in the first quarter, as the Celtics got out to a 16 point lead after 12 minutes and never looked back. Pritchard (14), Jayson Tatum (13), and Jaylen Brown (12) combined for all 39 points for their team in the third. Tatum finished with 30 points (5-10 three-pointers), 11 assists, and seven rebounds, while Brown put up 20 points and grabbed seven boards. The team shot 24-53 from behind the arc, with Tatum and Pritchard combining to go 11-22. Philadelphia got Joel Embiid back after a surgery for appendicitis, and after not playing for two weeks he led the 76ers with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.
