MDI sweeps Caribou
Preston Tripp reached base four times with three times, and four RBI, including a homer to lead MDI to a 16-0 win over Caribou in game one of a doubleheader. Tripp also struck out 10, allowing only one hit in four innings on the mound. Eli MacDonnell and Colin Sullivan each hit a homer.
In game two, Tripp, Alister Frongillo, and Brycen Chipman combined to throw a no-hitter. Sullivan hit his second homer of the day. Tripp reached base three times and scored three runs. Frongillo went 3-3 with four RBI.
