The Hammond Lumber Riverhawks Junior Legion Baseball White team exploded for six runs in the sixth inning, and had three pitchers combine for a no-hitter on Wednesday night in a 10-0 mery ruled win over Skowhegan at Hampden Academy.
Jackson Harris had two hits (RBI triple, two-run homerun) with three RBI to spark the Hammond Lumber (4-0) victory. Carson Stanley and Sam Hood added two RBI each. Collin Mehrhoff (two innings), Harris (three innings), and Michael Carroll (one inning) all pitched to combine for the no-hitter, striking out a total of seven and walking three. Harris got credited with the win. The Skowhegan Riverhawks fell to 1-4.
