The GSM Senior Riders rallied from a pair of early four run deficits, scoring three runs in the seventh to send it to extra innings, and then scored six runs in the eighth to defeat the Gray Post 86 Warriors 13-8 in a Senior Legion baseball game played at Central Maine Community College in Auburn on Tuesday night.
GSM had six batters with multiple hits, and three with multiple RBI to open their season with a win. Noah Corliss and Ethan Stokes each had three hits, while Baxter Flagg, Calvin Sanft, Brody Baron, and Kasey Bean had two hits a piece. Cassius Hogan had a huge three-run inside the park homerun in the eighth inning. Corliss also collected three RBI, and Stokes had two. Sanft also got the relief win on the mound. Cody Osmond, Landon Wilson, and Aiden Gorham had two hits a piece for the Gray Post 86 Warriors (1-3), with Osmond and Wilson also driving in one run each.
