At Boucher Field in Bangor on Tuesday night, the Husson men’s soccer team battled to a 0-0 non-conference draw against the University of Southern Maine in the season opener.
Eagles goalie Liam Mason (Greenville) and Huskies netminder Owen Burns each made three saves. USM had an 8-6 edge in shots attempted and corner kick opportunities 5-4. Husson will continue non-conference action at home Friday when they host UMaine-Fort Kent at 4:30 p.m.
