Red Sox comeback falls short in series opener loss to Orioles

The Boston Red Sox scored four runs in the ninth inning, but it wasn’t enough as they fell 7-5  to the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Thursday night.

Eduardo Rodriguez had his roughest outing of the season. He gave up seven runs in 5.2 innings. Rodriguez fell in the bullpen prior to the game. He allowed four home runs.

Former Red Sox lefty Wade Miley allowed only one run in seven innings to pick up the win for the Orioles.

Jackie Bradley JR hit a three run home run in the ninth inning. Bradley, Christian Vazquez, and Sam Travis had two hits each for the Red Sox.
