Isaac Ritchie was dominant on the mound to lead Mattanawcook baseball to a 2-0 Class C semifinal win over Dexter/PCHS on Saturday afternoon at Lincoln.
Ritchie allowed one hit and two walks with 14 strikeouts in the complete game gem. Avery Jordan hit a leadoff triple in the fourth inning and came in to score on a True Weatherbee sacrifice fly. The Lynx would add an insurance run in the sixth inning. Jacoby Savage and Noah Phelps each had a hit for Mattanawcook. They will play Washington Academy for the regional title on Tuesday at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.
Brady Gaw allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and six walks with seven strikeouts for the Tigers. Will Simpson had the only Dexter hit.
