Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 317 past athlete of the week winners.
This week we had nine Rowells Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Jaycee Christopher had a dominating performance in leading Skowhegan to a win over Erskine. The sophomore had 40 points and 21 rebounds. Christopher joins Adam Dusty (10-20-11), Marcus Christopher (10-8-17), Ashley Alward (4-23-18), Alexis Michonsk (9-16-18), Adelle Foss (10-7-18), Annie Cook (12-23-18), Sydney Ames (4-22-19), and Emily Reichenbach (11-4-19) as student/athletes from Skowhegan high school that have earned athlete of the week honors.

- Jaycee Christopher- Skowhegan- Basketball- had 40 points and 21 rebounds in 63-46 win over Erskine.

- Jordan Linscott – Erskine – Basketball- had 36 points in a 69-65 double OT win over Messalonskee.

- Alisyn Alley- Stearns- Basketball- recorded 16 points (4 three pointers), 11 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals in 46-37 win over Dexter. Recorded seven points, five rebounds, four steals, and four assists in 77-19 win over Penquis.
- Katherine Alley- Stearns – Basketball- recorded 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists in 46-37 win over Dexter. Had 20 points, five steals, three assists, and two rebounds in 77-19 win over Penquis.
- Abi Allen- Central- Basketball- scored 24 points in 46-29 win over Penquis. Had 18 points in 52-46 win over Bucksport.
- Kaci Alley- Narraguagus- Basketball- recorded 21 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in 64-28 win over Woodland.
- Lexi Ireland- PVHS- Basketball- recorded 21 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals in 38-32 win over Greenville. Recorded 24 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals in 46-38 loss to Schenck.
- Cheyenne Beem- Dexter – Basketball- recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and two steals in 45-35 win over Central. Had 12 points and eight rebounds in 46-37 loss to Stearns.
- Raeanah Reynolds Washington Academy- Basketball– the sophomore scored 18 points in a 44 31 loss to MDI. Scored 17 points in a 66 42 loss to Presque Isle.
