Hammond Lumber Riverhawks White improve to 3-0 in Junior Legion with shutout over Capital Area

The Hammond Lumber Riverhawks White Junior Legion baseball team improved to 3-0 in the early season on Tuesday night with a 12-0 five inning mercy ruled win over Capital Area at Hampden Academy.

Jackson Harris led the way for the Riverhawks with three hits and four RBI. Jack Kowalski and Alton Potter both had two RBI. Potter had two hits and scored two runs, while Kowalski came across to score three times. Westyn Wyatt went four innings on the mound to get the win allowing four hits with no walks and five strikeouts. The Riverhawks have outscored their three opponents 33-5. Cullen Cash, Grayson Atwood, Teague Turner, and Nic Karagiannes had the hits for Capital Area (0-3).
